Abstract
Fashion and technology, when united, have generated great innovations such as
3D clothing printers, smart fabrics and garments, virtual tailors, trends and unique
shopping experiences that have allowed the user to make better decisions when
purchasing clothing, accessories, footwear. among others; reducing returns,
garment damage, theft and dissatisfied customers and increasing sales.
Nowadays when we talk about fashion, it refers to something subjective, each
person has different tastes, culture, physical qualities and personality, which
becomes complex when choosing clothes. There are garments that often need
adjustments to be perfect, designs or colors that do not favor the user and ends up
trying a thousand garments in the fitting room without success. Not counting the
bitter experience of making long lines for fitting rooms, damaging a garment by
accident, changing rooms in poor condition, lack of salespeople to provide
information are many things that can occur in a clothing store.
These are some of the problems that are intended to be solved through
technological advances in virtual reality, providing an immediate, friendly, safe and
fun solution. An innovative option that will allow clothing stores to be competitive in
the market, optimize resources, provide good customer service and create a
different consumer experience.
